The idea of the ride seemed to have started from Julio Hardstein but I first heard about it on the Motopia WhatsApp group when Andy Scott announced but it was really Graeme Peart´s challenge that got my interest up.
I decided to join quite late and on Thursday May 14, 2020 I was added to the AR dual sport May21-23 WhatsApp group.
The weather prediction looked great then. It turned out to be a bit different.
Various photos started to come across of guys getting the bikes and gear ready and I still had no camping gear.
After discussing with Graeme made a decision on a number of items to buy and then relied on Amazon to do its magic which they did so Wednesday evening all the gear had arrived and I was ready to pack.
Thursday morning woke up bright and early as I still had about a one hour commute to the East side of the Metroplex for our early 8am departure.
